Machinist 1

A Machinist Level 1 is expected to set-up, program CNC machines, disassembles, inspects, assembles, reworks and tests rotating equipment to exacting tolerances.

Perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufactures standards.

- Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.- Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.- Diagnose, analyses and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.- Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.- Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.- Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.- Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.- Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

• apprentice ship in mechanical and production engineering

Over 8 years’ work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment
