Machine operator (Rolling)

Your Job

This role is Responsible for producing machined parts by setting up, and operating a Rolling and Bending machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. In addition, the machine operator is required to comply with KOCH safety requirements and behave in a manner that is aligned with our company culture.

What You Will Do

• Program machines by using existing programs or by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Load and unload machines using automatic or manual equipment.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Exposure as Machine operator (Rolling).
• Understanding of the operations of drills, lathes equipment
• Setting up and maintaining computer manufacturing and production machines
• Programming precision computer equipment according to per-job specifications
• Reading schematics, blueprints, and other documentation
• Writing and maintaining inspection and programming logs and manuals

• Exposure in operating Rolling and Bending machines for heavy fabrication
• Exposure in reading blueprints and fitting for heavy parts
