The Legal Manager will lead and manage all legal matters, providing expert legal advice to the management team, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing legal proceedings, and overseeing relationships with external legal parties. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's interests and ensuring that legal considerations are embedded in all business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management, including the CEO.
- Ensure legal aspects are considered in all business planning and decision-making.
- Assess court trial cases and recommend appropriate actions (trial or settlement).
- Represent flyadeal in legal proceedings and coordinate with external legal counsel.
- Draft, review, and manage a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
- Lead internal and external investigations related to legal matters.
- Resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Interpret and apply policies and procedures while advising stakeholders.
- Address complex legal issues, providing guidance to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and relevant regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government entities.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external legal service providers.
- Maintain legal documentation, case files, contracts, and corporate records.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations impacting the business.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in legal advisory roles.
- Experience in the airline industry is preferred.
Technical Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and government regulations.
- Strong expertise in defense references and case management.
- Native or bilingual Arabic speaker with professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
