To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for Lead Test engineer.
Responsibilities
- Build team capacity and individual testing skills providing scalable structure
- Lead the team in setup and compliance with quality assurance standards
- Monitor and improve quality assurance processes and procedures in line with latest testing technologies
- Facilitate communication within different technical teams within engineering
- Participate in presales initiatives and project estimations for testing activities
- Apply business-driven, risk-based, and exploratory test methodologies
- Define most advantageous project-based methods and tools
- Support and set up manual or automated testing processes and related testing tools
- Set up test strategy, test plans and testing process on the projects
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks among multiple or changing priorities
- Prefer to work on agile software development projects with globally distributed teams
- Have at least 5 years of quality assurance experience and at least 2 years in leading teams
- Own leadership skills necessary to build, manage and scale QA team to meet workload and efficiency
- Extensive knowledge in testing different types of applications: backend, frontend, web, mobile
- Proficient in automation testing (e.g., Selenium Web driver and Java)
- Hands on experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI
- Performance, regression and stress testing plans definition and successful implementation
- Experience with different cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential
- Arabic language is a plus
- Ability to travel to Saudi Arabia if needed
