Job Description

Parsons is looking for a seasoned Lead Engineer to oversee and drive the engineering design and delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure and building projects within a large-scale development program. The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership, ensure design quality, and coordinate engineering activities across various disciplines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the engineering design and coordination efforts across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure systems.
• Manage design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements, codes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to build team capability.
• Support project management in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Participate in design reviews, audits, and quality assurance processes.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum 10-15 years of progressive engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary design projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to large infrastructure and building projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with engineering design and coordination software tools.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP).
• Experience working on giga or mega projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Familiarity with sustainable design and smart infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
