Job Description

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
• Comply at all times with Accor standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size.
• Sort and stretch food and beverage linen.
• Operate ironer to press food and beverage linen.
• Size and stack food and beverage linen for distribution to departments.
• Pre-treat all stained or rusted linen before washing.
• Wash and dry sorted laundry.
• Wash/iron employees uniforms.
• Take daily count of all hotel linens.
• Check count against linen requisitions.
• Clean work area.
• Sort dirty linen.
• Other duties as required.
