WSP is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our supervision team for a prestigious project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring strong site-based experience and a comprehensive understanding of post-contract supervision, with a focus on landscape design implementation, quality control and compliance with project specifications.

WSP is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our supervision team for a prestigious project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring strong site-based experience and a comprehensive understanding of post-contract supervision, with a focus on landscape design implementation, quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the supervision of all landscape works, including the review and approval of technical submittals and resolution of site-related issues.
- Monitor the progress and quality of landscape works carried out by consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure that all landscape installations comply with contract specifications, design intent, and quality control standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to secure necessary approvals and NOCs.
- Review material inspection requests, conduct on-site inspections of landscape materials, and sign off upon approval.
- Prepare and supervise documentation required for work completion and ensure consultant sign-off following inspections.
- Supervise all landscape activities across the project site, ensuring alignment with approved shop drawings and layouts.
- Inspect landscape works based on approved layout plans, general arrangement drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Coordinate closely with civil and infrastructure contractors to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements.
- Collaborate with the design team to resolve discrepancies between IFC/contract drawings and civil works, and provide practical on-site solutions.
- Review and respond to RFIs, inspect works as per approved method statements, and conduct material inspections and design reviews.
- Identify and manage safety-critical aspects of the project, supporting the ARE/RE in closing punch points and facilitating handover.
- Assist in reviewing O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and training plans, while promoting a strong safety culture (Target Zero).
- Lead by example in enforcing safe practices and maintaining high construction quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to project quality control procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Monitor construction progress against the project schedule and take proactive steps to ensure timely delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or similar field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in architectural supervision
- Previous experience working with a reputable consultancy on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of post-contract supervision processes, including shop drawing reviews and site inspections.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Saudi-based candidates with valid Iqama are preferred.
