Aggreko

Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Jeddah
Contract type: Contractor
Do you want to join a global company and get experience across Saudi Arabia to kick start your career in sales? Then our KSA graduate finance programme is what you’re looking for…

We’re Aggreko

We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.

We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.

Aggreko in Saudi Arabia

Across Saudi Arabia, we electrify events from the Formula 1 in Jeddah to the Sound Storm Festival in Riyadh. We also support our customers across the Kingdom with a variety of complex projects including providing power and cooling for the Red Sea development project and supplying cooling and backup power for customers’ refineries.

Our graduate finance programme

As a finance graduate, you’ll complete a 24-month development programme designed for Saudi graduates.

The role involves rotating through key finance functions across the business with the aim of developing into a permanent member of the finance team at the end of the programme.

During the programme you’ll have placements across a variety of finance functions, including financial planning & analysis, statistics & tax, controls, record to pay, and credit control. Based at our KSA head office in Jeddah, you’ll also work closely with local and regional finance teams, both in person and remotely.

This programme offers broad exposure to key financial processes, hands-on experience, mentorship, and real business challenges, preparing graduates for a permanent finance role within Aggreko.

Why join us as a graduate?

Our programme is designed to give you a wide variety of professional experiences from the day you join. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced finance team and collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to deliver for our clients.

Although we're sixty years old, it doesn't feel like it when you work here. You can expect the professionalism and high standards of a larger company – yet you won’t be pigeon-holed into a narrow role.

The sense of teamwork is unique – ‘together’ is one of our core values – and we make sure people feel welcome and included, so they can be themselves at work.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • Recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • SOCPA certified.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and basic accounting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
  • Basic knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in taking responsibility.
  • Business level English proficiency.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.

Benefits

  • Industry-leading benefit plan including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, and more.
  • 25 days’ annual leave.
  • Continuous training and development with clear career growth opportunities.

To comply with national labour laws and applicable legislation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this programme is designed specifically for Saudi nationals. If you are not a Saudi national, then consider applying for one of our other graduate programmes in the Middle East.

Bring your energy. Grow your career.

Equal employment opportunity

We welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes and experiences. We encourage everyone to be themselves at work because we know that’s how we do our best, for each other, for our customers, for the communities where we work, and for our careers.

We are an equal opportunity employer. If you apply for a role at Aggreko, we will consider your application based on your qualifications and experience, and not on your race, colour, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
