A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow Siemens Energy's longstanding relationship with one of the largest Oil & Gas companies in the world. The KAM will act as the primary interface between Siemens Energy and the Account, forging a long-term relationship, driving growth opportunities across product and service lines, and aligning the Siemens Energy portfolio with the account’s strategic priorities.

How you’ll make an impact?

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for the account across all levels, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy's business objectives.
  • Develop and execute an account plan for the account that integrates sales, services, aftermarket support, and localization initiatives.
  • Identify, qualify, and drive business opportunities in line with the account’s capital projects, maintenance programs, and long-term energy strategy.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve escalations if, and when, they arise.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Siemens Energy teams to deliver value added solutions.
  • Stay up to date on all developments related to the account, in addition to all relevant internal processes.
  • Represent Siemens Energy in high-level meetings, technical workshops and strategic reviews with the account’s stakeholders.
  • Track key performance metrics: such as share of wallet (SOW), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and localization achievements.


What you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6-10 years' experience in account management or sales in energy, Oil & Gas, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record managing large, strategic accounts with complex decision-making structures.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to negotiate large contracts.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic would strongly be preferred, German would be a plus)
  • Success Factors:
  • Relationship Excellence: Ability to build trust at multiple levels within the Aramco organization.
  • Strategic insight: Understanding Aramco's transformation (e.g. gas expansion, downstream JVs, decarbonization, etc.) and aligning Siemens Energy offerings accordingly.
  • Influencing without authority: skilled at mobilizing Siemens Energy resources to serve Aramco's needs.
  • Proactivity: anticipate challenges and address them before they escalate.
  • Commercial Acumen: Balances customer satisfaction with Siemens Energy's profitability.
  • Localization: Solid understanding of the IKTVA program, Saudization, and the local manufacturer base.
