As an Installation & Commissioning Manager, your day will be multifaceted and impactful, as you lead all aspects of multiple projects across the Middle East. You will collaborate closely with Global Project Managers, ensuring the successful execution of Installation & Commissioning contracts while supervising offshore activities in construction yards. Your leadership will steer the team towards reaching project breakthroughs, upholding safety standards, and encouraging a culture of open communication and collaboration among cross-regional teams.

As an Installation & Commissioning Manager, your day will be multifaceted and impactful, as you lead all aspects of multiple projects across the Middle East. You will collaborate closely with Global Project Managers, ensuring the successful execution of Installation & Commissioning contracts while supervising offshore activities in construction yards. Your leadership will steer the team towards reaching project breakthroughs, upholding safety standards, and encouraging a culture of open communication and collaboration among cross-regional teams.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support Global Project Managers in negotiating and executing local Installation & Commissioning (I&C) contracts for multiple projects in the Middle East.
- Supervise and follow up on offshore project activities in construction yards (China, Korea, etc.) to ensure accurate status reporting upon equipment arrival in the Middle East.
- Monitor the I&C budget, assess deviations from the contractual scope, and forecast time and cost according to the plan.
- Forecast, plan, and reserve internal/external field service resources to support scheduled Installation and Commissioning activities, ensuring continuous communication with vendors.
- Assist in acquiring necessary local documents such as visas, work permits, and sea passports while ensuring compliance with local Environment protection, Health management, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
- Provide regular I&C status reports to the Global Project Manager and project teams, while coordinating and leading weekly progress meetings and site activities for acceptance testing and performance guarantee testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, (or foreign degree equivalent) with between 6 to 8 years track record of Site Supervisory Management in the Oil & Gas Industry in a similar position, where Installation & Commissioning as well onshore as Offshore of “Rotating Equipment” has been the focal point.
- Preferably in-depth Centrifugal Compressor (Hands on) experience.
- Knowledge of Compression installations such as Control Systems, Anti surge systems, Anti pulsation systems, Seal-gas systems, lube oil systems and different driver types like Steam Turbines, Gas Turbine, E-Motor and VFD systems.
- Proven leadership skills with decision-making abilities as related to maintaining and completing the I&C activities with Time, Material and Budget.
- Proven Strong Team player skills with Cross regional teams involved.
- Verbal and written communication in English, proficient in the local regional language (would be an advantage).
