Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Inspector (Waste Management) to join our team based in Jeddah, KSA.


This position will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate meet established standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting regular inspections of project sites, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance operational performance.


We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Conducting regular inspections of cleaning project sites, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identifying and documenting any deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliance issues during inspections.
  • Working with project teams to address and correct identified issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all cleaning operations comply with local environmental and health regulations.
  • Preparing detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate records of site visits and findings.
  • Monitoring the performance of waste collection and transfer operations to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing quality control procedures and best practices for cleaning projects.
  • Providing recommendations for improving project processes and ensuring long-term compliance with regulations.



Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of experience in inspection or quality control roles, preferably in public infrastructure or environmental projects, partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to cleaning and waste management.
  • Certification in health, safety, or quality management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO certification) is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify non-compliance issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills in both English and Arabic.
