WSP is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Inspector to join our team on a major airport infrastructure project in Riyadh. This role is open to Saudi nationals only as part of our commitment to local workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily site inspections to ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor contractors' work, reporting any non-compliance or quality issues.
- Verify that all materials and equipment used are approved and meet project standards.
- Ensure work progress aligns with project timelines and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other inspectors to resolve site issues.
- Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, progress records, and documentation.
- Assist in reviewing method statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
- Support the project team during audits and client inspections.
- Saudi national (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil inspection, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects
- Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and specifications
- Familiarity with airport-related civil works is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment
