Job Responsibility
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Assistant Manager to join our Innovation Hub team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in exploring new venture opportunities, leading ideation sessions for new ventures, and executing internal innovation initiatives across stc Group. This position requires a strong balance between creative thinking, strategic analysis, and project execution.

Job Responsibility
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Assistant Manager to join our Innovation Hub team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in exploring new venture opportunities, leading ideation sessions for new ventures, and executing internal innovation initiatives across stc Group. This position requires a strong balance between creative thinking, strategic analysis, and project execution.
Primary Role
- Conduct in-depth assessment of various white-spaces to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential disruption areas (e.g. industry understanding, value chain mapping, stakeholder mapping and relationships definitions)
- Lead ideation processes focused on four key lenses; desirability, feasibility, viability, and strategic fit for stc Group
- Identify value propositions based on identified challenges/pain-points and insights, and further define selected value propositions through research, customer interviews, expert interviews, field visits, etc.
- Assess specific market vertical and competitive landscapes (e.g. direct, non-direct, incumbents, startups, sector VC investment analysis)
- Support preparation of concept papers for prioritized new venture opportunities for stc Group
- Lead and support in internal innovation programs and initiatives across stc Group to foster an innovative culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess new innovative ideas, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Manage overall Innovation Hub operations, including but not limited to; tracking and reporting on the progress of internal initiatives ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
