A Snapshot of Your Day

• You will be an active contributor taking the lead role in development of our business in targeted industry and participate in creating new and exciting system solutions based on Siemens Energy’s extensive product and system engineering portfolio. This involves challenging existing solutions by being curios, asking questions, and thereby contributing to making the industrial plants of the future environmentally friendly and profitable for our customers.
• We expect you to prioritize the customer’s needs and identify effective solution options. We also wish that you will apply your analytical and strategic skills to work systematically and deliver reliable quality for our customers at all stages.
• With direct early engagements and continuous technical discussions with customers, we expect you to position Siemens Energy technology and solutions in upcoming projects and to grow sales pipeline

How You’ll Make an Impact

• As the Industry Lead for Chemical & Petrochemical business in the region, you will take responsibility to provide strategic direction, leadership and grow business via direct sales in Chemical & Petrochemical industries.
• Create and implements strategies within these industries to ensure that business/technical risks are identified and managed, and business opportunities are exploited as a part of business planning.
• You will initiate, coordinate and drive regional activities in these industries, closely working with business development team, field sales and technical sales experts.
• You will have continuous engagement with production plant owners, EPC’s, design entities and licensors, understanding their strategies and aligning/performing all regional activities on positioning EAD solutions.
• Establish contacts with customers at a senior level and develop long term relationships with key customers.
• Present new technology and innovation at conferences, client events.
• Evaluate opportunities and facilitate appropriate strategic activities to enhance market share.
• Lead sales activities to win strategic/major opportunities and large projects.
• Oversees and delivers challenging and major assignments including collaboration within and across different units.
• Primary focus will be on decarbonization of industrial processes through electrification.
• Conducts regular reviews to ensure the execution of tenders/projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

• You excel in leading and connecting people, redefining cultures, and shifting businesses into new growth fields.
• You have a track record in finding lean solutions to complex challenges leading to the best result.
• Higher education in electrical engineering or other relevant subject area, preferably with a focus on process industry, with experience of 13+ years.
• Knowledge of Chemical & Petrochemical plants and processes.
• Proficiency in both oral and written English.
