Duties:

Job Purpose:

Lead the implementation of Industrial Hygiene policies and programs and increase individual awareness and accountability to achieve these objectives.

Functional Duties:

  1. Assure adherence and consistency in overall Occupational Health & Safety, be more specific on EHS Personal Safety (ODMS 06.05) IH, standards, requirements, guidelines, training, and enabling tools and management systems.
  2. Serve as the Occupational Health & Safety focal point with Parent Company’s organizations, ensuring consistency of application of regulatory requirements, industry and company best practices.
  3. Recommend improvements and solutions regarding specific Occupational Health & Safety, issues.
  4. Perform the implementation of an assessment program to ensure conformity of facilities and its appropriate support for EH&S audits.
  5. Ensure appropriate incident investigations/corrective actions as well as identification of opportunities to streamline resources and work process related to Occupational Health & Safety.
  6. Maintain an effective liaison with Manufacturing, Site Logistics and EH&S Leaders to keep them advised of trends in Occupational Health & Safety performance and potential issues that could affect operations at Sadara.
  7. Ensure effective, role specific Occupational Health & Safety is provided to all Sadara personnel to increase awareness and clarify responsibilities.
  8. Serve as the on-going champion and owner of Sadara’s EH&S Operating Disciple Management System and ensure that all aspects of Operating Discipline are adequate and applied to achieve Occupational Health & Safety performance goals.
  9. Implement Saudi Arabian Government officials, industry, and Sadara management assessments’ recommendations as applicable.
  10. Ensure continuous assessment of facilities’ operations and maintenance on Occupational Health & Safety performance and compliance.
  11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.


Education:

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
