IDB3512 - Information Management & Disruptive Technology Intern

Job Purpose

To provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience, professional development, and meaningful contributions to departmental projects in a supportive learning environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in research on AI ethics, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Conduct literature reviews and monitor emerging AI standards.
• Contribute to prototyping and testing AI models in sandbox environments.
• Apply basic Python/R / any AI programming skills to support research, development and data analysis.
• Manage and explore datasets for AI agent development.
• Participate in comparing AI models and extracting data insights.
• Bridge academic knowledge with real-world AI applications.
• Share insights on current academic trends in tech research.
• Collaborate with internal teams across different functions.
• Support in-house development of AI agentic workflows or any AI based use-cases/prototypes.
  
  

Academic And Professional Qualifications

• Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Undergraduate student in their final year of study
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program
• Currently enrolled in a Doctoral program
• Graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months
