To provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience, professional development, and meaningful contributions to departmental projects in a supportive learning environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in research on AI ethics, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Conduct literature reviews and monitor emerging AI standards.
- Contribute to prototyping and testing AI models in sandbox environments.
- Apply basic Python/R / any AI programming skills to support research, development and data analysis.
- Manage and explore datasets for AI agent development.
- Participate in comparing AI models and extracting data insights.
- Bridge academic knowledge with real-world AI applications.
- Share insights on current academic trends in tech research.
- Collaborate with internal teams across different functions.
- Support in-house development of AI agentic workflows or any AI based use-cases/prototypes.
- Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student in their final year of study
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program
- Currently enrolled in a Doctoral program
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months
- Python/ R
- Data management
- AI Lab
- Sandbox
- AI Agent
- English - Mandatory
- Arabic - Preferred
- Internship duration: 6 months
