ICT Expert

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled ICT Expert to support the delivery of Information and Communications Technology systems and infrastructure for a large-scale airport project. The role requires expertise in airport ICT systems, design reviews, coordination with stakeholders, and overseeing implementation in alignment with project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and implementation of ICT systems across the airport project.
• Review ICT design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical oversight on ICT systems such as data networks, telephony, CCTV, access control, public address, flight information display systems (FIDS), and other airport-specific technologies.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, client teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems.
• Monitor and manage ICT-related project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Support procurement processes for ICT systems, including reviewing technical submittals and vendor proposals.
• Attend project meetings and provide expert advice on ICT-related matters.
• Ensure that ICT systems are compliant with local and international codes, aviation authority regulations, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of ICT systems.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years on airport or aviation-related ICT projects.
• In-depth knowledge of airport ICT infrastructure, systems integration, and operational technology.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ICAO, IATA, BICSI, TIA/EIA).
• Strong experience with design review, technical specifications, and stakeholder coordination.
• Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
