Job Description:

The Human Resources Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the HR department's functions through the application of advanced knowledge in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This position requires a dynamic individual who can leverage their understanding of HR best practices and legal regulations to assist in the development and implementation of HR policies that foster a positive workplace culture. The Specialist is tasked with collaborating across departments to address employee needs and promote engagement through effective communication and efficient HR processes. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in utilizing HR analytics to assess staff satisfaction and identify areas for improvement, thus ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR support roles, demonstrating advancement in responsibilities and skills.
  • In-depth understanding of labor laws and ethical HR practices, enabling effective compliance and risk management.
  • Proficient in HRIS software and other digital tools related to HR functions for effective data management and reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training programs related to HR policies and employee development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques, including technological platforms and social media recruitment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring an engaging and informative introduction into the organization, and complying with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements, improving data accuracy and handling document requests efficiently.
  • Aide in the administration of employee performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing necessary training support.
  • Collaborate with department managers to conduct employee satisfaction surveys and provide feedback data to enhance employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, facilitating conflict resolution where needed, while adhering to company policies.
  • Assist in developing HR policies and procedures that comply with existing legislation and best practices while fostering a positive organizational culture.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at boosting workforce morale and enhancing retention rates through innovative programs and strategies.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, tools, and legislation to provide informed recommendations to management regarding HR practices and policies.
  • Support the HR team in other administrative tasks and special projects as needed, maintaining flexibility and a proactive approach to contributions.
