We are seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The HSSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, security, and environmental compliance of all projects in the region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HSSE management and will be responsible for developing and implementing HSSE policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and providing training and support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures in accordance with local laws and regulations, as well as company standards
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSSE policies
  • Provide training and support to project teams on HSSE best practices and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Monitor and track HSSE performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential risks to the company and its employees
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in HSSE management and make recommendations for improvements to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all HSSE requirements are incorporated into project plans and activities
  • Act as a point of contact for all HSSE-related matters and provide guidance and support to project teams as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSSE management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of local HSSE regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSSE policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and influence others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Professional certifications in HSSE management (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable
