Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to join our supervision team on a major infrastructure and mixed-use development project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented and maintained in accordance with project requirements, local regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to join our supervision team on a major infrastructure and mixed-use development project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented and maintained in accordance with project requirements, local regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with project HSE plans, regulations, and procedures at site level.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure that contractors and subcontractors implement appropriate safety controls and corrective actions.
- Participate in toolbox talks, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Report and assist in the investigation of all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Support the development of a strong HSE culture by promoting awareness and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with project management, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with KSA safety regulations and international standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in construction supervision of infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.
- Middle East experience (KSA preferred).
- Certification in NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH or equivalent is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of KSA HSE standards and authority requirements.
- Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of safety on site.
