Sales Specialist (Intralogistics and automation)

Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS – automated systems that handle, store, and retrieve materials with precision and efficiency) and Vertical Lift Module (VLM – automated vertical storage systems that use trays and an elevator to retrieve stored items) solutions across industries including logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, and distribution.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings and on-site visits to assess operational requirements and storage/automation needs.
- Present professional sales demonstrations highlighting system benefits, efficiency improvements, and return on investment (ROI).
- Translate client requirements into viable ASRS/VLM solution proposals by coordinating with engineering and design teams.
- Review system layouts and technical concepts to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Serve as the key technical-commercial liaison between customers and internal teams during the sales cycle.
- Prepare and manage detailed technical and commercial proposals, including scope, pricing, timelines, and terms.
- Lead negotiations to secure profitable contracts while maintaining commercial standards.
- Ensure clarity in assumptions, exclusions, and defined responsibilities in proposals and contracts.
- Stay current with ASRS, VLM, and intralogistics trends and competitor offerings.
- Provide structured market feedback to management about customer needs and market conditions.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, client engagements, and industry events as needed.
- Support project handover to execution teams to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain client relationships post-sale to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
- Engineering, Industrial Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- 5–10 years of experience in solution sales, technical sales, or B2B sales, preferably in ASRS, VLM, material handling, warehouse automation, or intralogistics.
- Relevant certifications or experience in ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), VLM (Vertical Lift Module), intralogistics, automation, or production lines considered an asset.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with technical understanding of automation and storage solutions.
- Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales opportunities simultaneously.
- High degree of professionalism, accountability, and customer focus.
- Proven ability to sell complex systems using a consultative sales approach.
- Experience working with industrial clients, logistics operators, or manufacturing facilities is highly desirable.
