Job Summary:
The Housekeeping order taker ensures that the department handles the housekeeping communication system and guest communication politely and efficiently. Handles incoming/outgoing calls courteously and promptly and performs to the standards established by Shangri-La.

As a Housekeeping Order Taker, we rely on you to,

Handling the safekeeping, recording, and collection of all keys and pagers held in the Housekeeping Office to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
Answering the telephone according to standards and recording incoming requests and messages in order to communicate this information to concerned in a timely fashion.
Receiving Lost and Found items and recording and storing them as per standard.
Maintaining control of Guest Supplies, preparing the needed supplies for requisitions and handling lost and found.
Coordinate and control all office traffic;
Ensure vacant/ready rooms are available to the Front Office through coordination with the Floor Supervisor team;
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image, to ensure guest satisfaction.

What we are Looking For:
1 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Ability to work long hours and shifts.
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the Arabic language)
Computer Knowledge.
