Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Co-op to join our team and support our operations. This role offers hands-on experience in supply chain management, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges. You will work closely with our logistics, procurement, and inventory teams to optimize processes and drive efficiency in the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, analyzing inventory trends, and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Procurement Support: Work with the procurement team to source materials, communicate with suppliers, and track order progress.
• Logistics Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities and prepare regular reports on key performance metrics.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure supply chain activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Type of employment: 6 months COOP training

Schedule: 8 hours, 6 working days/week.

Working location: KAUST Research and Technology Park, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.

Transportation: Daily shuttles between Jeddah and KAUST are available.
