Hostess

As a Hostess, you’ll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. From greeting guests with a warm smile to ensuring a smooth seating flow and maintaining guest preferences, your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests from arrival to departure.

You’ll be expected to:

Greet guests promptly, warmly, and professionally as they enter the restaurant or dining outlet.

Manage reservations and guest seating through the appropriate booking system (e.g., OpenTable or similar).

Coordinate table assignments based on guest preferences, volume, and server rotations.

Maintain a clean and organized host station and entrance area at all times.

Provide accurate wait times and manage the guest queue during busy periods.

Answer phone calls related to dining reservations, restaurant information, and special requests.

Liaise with the culinary and service team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Uphold all IHG brand standards in guest service and personal appearance.

What We Need From You

Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment

Passion for delivering genuine hospitality and personalized service

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Working knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage

A polished and professional appearance in line with brand grooming standards

Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
