The purpuse of the Safety Officer is to ensure compliance with Daikin’s safety standards and Saudi regulatory requirements by supporting site operations, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

• Lead daily site inspections and ensure strict application of safety standards and procedures.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize unsafe conditions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare professional reports, and track closure of corrective actions.
• Monitor proper usage of PPE, compliance with permit-to-work system, and adherence to site safety rules.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, checklists, and logs in alignment with company policies.
• Support emergency preparedness activities including drills, evacuation tests, and first-response readiness.
• Coordinate closely with site leaders, engineers, and project teams to integrate HSE into daily operations and planning.

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory
• 4–5 years HSE experience within HVAC / MEP / Construction – Required
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or relevant field – Preferred
• Knowledge of Saudi labor law and local HSE regulations (MHRSD, SFDA, Civil Defense etc.)
• Strong in safety documentation, inspections, and incident reporting workflow
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills
• Ability to travel within KSA depending on project / site requirements
