Role Summary
The Associate – Supply Chain supports day-to-day supply chain operations for the Retail Discount business, ensuring product availability, timely replenishment, and efficient stock flow across stores and distribution centers. The role works closely with Commercial, Operations, and Logistics teams to maintain high service levels, reduce costs, and deliver value to customers in line with the Retail Discount promise of affordability and reliability.

Role Summary
The Associate – Supply Chain supports day-to-day supply chain operations for the Retail Discount business, ensuring product availability, timely replenishment, and efficient stock flow across stores and distribution centers. The role works closely with Commercial, Operations, and Logistics teams to maintain high service levels, reduce costs, and deliver value to customers in line with the Retail Discount promise of affordability and reliability.
ROLE PROFILE
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning to ensure on-shelf availability and prevent stock-outs.
- Assist in demand forecasting by analyzing sales data, market trends, and store feedback.
- Coordinate product allocation to stores based on assortment and sales priorities.
- Work with warehouses and logistics providers to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flows and timely deliveries.
- Track order fulfillment, lead times, and delivery performance, escalating delays when necessary.
- Collaborate with suppliers and Commercial teams to manage delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and align on promotional volumes.
- Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards on stock availability, service levels, and delivery performance, highlighting risks and inefficiencies.
- Support process improvements, system updates, and compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 + years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within Retail/FMCG or discount/value retail
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good analytical and numerical ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of ERP/supply chain systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; team player, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
