About the location:
Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.
The Role of the Health & Safety Manager
As a Health & Safety Manager, you will conduct internal audits related to Hygiene & Food Safety Standards in all areas. You will collaborate with the DOF&B/Executive Chef during local, external, and corporate audits. You will identify key areas of risk in various departments, take pre-emptive remedial actions, and bring forward opportunities for related departments to enhance standards by advising on proper practices regarding Food Safety and Hygiene. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Food Safety & Hygiene practices are implemented across all relevant departments.

Knowledge And Skills
- Minimum three years’ work experience in a hotel or similar large restaurant complex, preferably with experience in the Hotel industry.
- Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and working under pressure.
- Creative with an international culinary focus and flair. Attention to detail.
- Team player who values teamwork, has good team-building skills, and can communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
- High degree of integrity. Strong leadership. Nurtures and develops team members, encouraging innovation.
- Good computer skills.
- Effective trainer.
- Experienced in the delivery of skills training.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Certifications: HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) - (Food Safety Management System)/ Quality Management System.
