Health Safety Environment Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with local and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Conduct risk assessments and identify preventive measures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor compliance with safety and health standards at the site and report incidents or potential hazards.
• Provide training for employees on safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Analyze safety data and implement continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Industrial, Environmental, or Occupational Health Engineering)
• .8 years of experience in health, safety, and environment management
• .Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations
• .Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are a plus
• .Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver training sessions
• .Effective report writing and risk analysis skills
