Job Description:

AESG is seeking a passionate and driven Health & Safety Consultant - Saudi National. This is a temporary role for 7-8 months. The candidate must have experience dealing with Saudi Health and Safety Legislation. The service delivery is primarily corporate health and safety services as per the below deliverables:

  • HSE Policy Manual.
  • HSSE Management System Manual.
  • Contractor & HSSE Requirements Manual.
  • Risk Assessment and Control Procedures Manual.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response Plans.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation Procedures.
  • HSSE Monitoring Program and Measurement Framework.
  • Permit to Work Procedure.
  • Activation Plan.
  • Training & Capacity Building.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the local liaison with the client in Jeddah.
  • Attend regular meetings with the client to update on progress at their offices in Jeddah.
  • Complete the required deliverables as shown above with support from our Dubai based H&S consultant.
  • Have regular remote meetings with divisional director to update on current progress, any issues and to enable milestone invoices to be generated and issued.
  • Work with the security team and environmental team on joint deliverables.
  • Carry out in person training and implementation of the documentation produced for the client.


Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • The candidate must have a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, or Environmental Science), with further post-graduate education desirable (e.g., Master's degree), along with demonstrated work experience within the field.
  • Five or more years of experience across the Health & Safety field.
  • Professional certifications related to Health & Safety.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills, adept at dealing with and engaging people at all levels.
  • Skilled at establishing and cultivating strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Critical-thinking skills.
