Job Description:

The Content Creator for our Specialty Coffee Shop and Brunch will be a dynamic and innovative individual responsible for driving our brand's online presence through engaging and aesthetically pleasing visual content. This mid-career role demands a highly skilled professional with a nuanced understanding of both the coffee and brunch industry and digital content trends. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in photography and videography, adeptly capturing the essence of our products and the ambiance of our café. This includes a strong emphasis on creating visually compelling content tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms, engaging audiences through thought-provoking mini-campaigns and series. The Content Creator will work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with our brand's identity and values, while remaining agile to adapt to fast-changing social media trends.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven expertise in photography and videography, with a portfolio showcasing food and drink compositions.
  • Proficient in video editing software, including CapCut, InShot, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Exceptional photo editing skills using Lightroom, Snapseed, or Photoshop.
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, including formats, trending audios, memes, and effective transitions.
  • Ability to create high-quality content tailored specifically for social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
  • Strong creative vision, with a keen eye for aesthetics that align with brand identity.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and executing mini-campaigns or series of posts.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage content calendars and adhere to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of both giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, engaging photo and video content that showcases the unique offerings of the café and brunch menu.
  • Develop and execute a cohesive content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, events, and seasonal promotions.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across social platforms to inform content strategy and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content reflects the café's brand voice and enhances customer loyalty.
  • Adapt quickly to emerging social media trends, incorporating new formats and ideas into content creation.
  • Conduct regular brainstorming sessions to develop creative content ideas that entice customers and elevate brand awareness.
  • Engage with followers on social media, responding to comments and messages to foster a community around the café.
  • Maintain an organized repository of visual assets, ensuring easy access and proper cataloging for the team.
  • Capture organic moments and experiences within the café that can be transformed into compelling content.
  • Provide feedback and insights to team members regarding content effectiveness and audience engagement strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced photography skills, especially applicable to food and beverage styling.
  • Proficient videography skills for social media platforms, particularly in creating short-form content.
  • Mastery of various editing tools for both photo and video content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and effective engagement tactics.
