Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Waiter to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Head Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and inspiring our wait staff.

• Lead by example, prioritizing memorable guest experiences and motivating team members
• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the dining area
• Act as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen, handling requests and inquiries from guests and staff
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and special events
• Train and mentor new wait staff, ensuring adherence to service standards
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in inventory management and cost control measures
• Contribute to the development of new service procedures and standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy restaurant or upscale dining establishment
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and guest needs
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including POS systems and reservation management software
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Team player with a supportive and collaborative approach
• Familiarity with local cuisine and customs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (preferred)
• Food safety certification (preferred)
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
