Head of Retail

As Head of Retail, you will oversee all retail operations, store concepts, and customer experience across our expanding footprint in Saudi Arabia. You will manage P&L, revenue targets, and drive profitable growth through strategic initiatives. You will lead a team focused on store productivity, merchandising excellence, and developing our people. This is an excellent opportunity to take complete charge of our retail division and further cement our leadership position in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all retail activities, including new store development, operations optimization, and meeting financial objectives
• Conceptualize and launch innovative retail formats like Home & Gaming to engage customers
• Continuously enhance the in-store experience through effective layouts, eye-catching displays, and great customer service
• Oversee merchandising, product selection, displays, and inventory management to maximize sales and profitability
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved or exceeded
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and store functioning through robust SOPs
• Develop talent through comprehensive training programs and foster a solutions-oriented culture
• Keep abreast of global retail trends and implement best practices for sustained competitive advantage
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic and English with a minimum 10 years of retail leadership experience
• Proven track record of driving P&L growth and expansion in large retail or consumer organizations
• Hands-on experience in concepts, store operations, merchandising, customer analytics and more
• Strong people management skills to mentor teams and motivate frontline staff
• Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Conversant with the latest in digital and omnichannel retail to future-proof our strategy
• Entrepreneurial mindset with business acumen to maximize profits and scale rapidly
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, demanding roles and interact cross-functionally
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
