As part of the next stage of our growth HAALA Energy is looking to recruit a confident and capable Head of Finance.

The main responsibilities of the Head of Finance include:

· Managing and supervising our Senior Accountant and his workstreams including all day-to-day booking-keeping, invoicing, purchase orders, payroll, reimbursements, and bills

· Maintain clear and organized management accounts through our company ERP system (M365 Business Central/Dynamics), including revenue recognition calculations, tracking payables / receivables, and cash flow analysis

· Develop and implement new digital systems that increase the efficiency of different parts of the finance workflow

· Present data and actionable insights to management and board on a regular basis, and identify potential issues and bottlenecks before they occur

· Oversee internal financial reporting requirements to management and board

· Support management in corporate finance activities, ie raising equity / debt, as required for the company operations and growth plans, and be able to take a view on the financial strategy of the company

· Build and maintain banking and government relationships to support debt financing goals of the company

· Oversee all external financial reporting requirements, including VAT and Zakat submissions

· Manage the company’s tax liabilities efficiently and effectively

· Oversee the annual audit process

· Build financial models for as needed for budgeting and business planning

In addition to the above, the Head of Finance is expected to coordinate and work effectively with other members of the team, and to assist with furthering the goals of the company in general, even where this may involve work that is not strictly related to their day-to-day responsibilities.

Potential candidates should have:

- At least 7 years in an accounting or finance or related role

- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field

- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications (a professional accounting qualification is a plus)

- A track record of increasing responsibility and signs of leadership in a finance role

- Familiarity with Saudi financial reporting requirements and experience working with ZATCA

- Familiarity with ERP Finance software will be a plus, particularly the Microsoft Dynamics Suite

- Highly developed computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, accounting software, & online platforms such as Dropbox, online banking facilities etc

- Fluency in English, fluency in Arabic is a plus

- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

- Attention to detail and pride in working to a high standard with minimal supervision

- A willingness to learn and continue to develop professionally
