About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Sales Department in Riyadh, the Government Sales Manager is responsible for Ensures comprehensive and complete coverage of own sales portfolio, covering all levels of accounts and all revenue streams within the account for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity. Manages activities related to the sales functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Achieves personal booking goals and makes recommendations on booking goals. Track record in exceeding targets with the ability to identify, implement and execute sales strategies and account plans.
As Government Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Achieves financial targets and monitors progress of team’s sales objectives targets through supervision and guidance to ensure team also achieves financial targets in all revenue streams.

About The Job

As Government Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, to implement agreed rate structure and strategy for assigned market segments.
- To establish and maintain effective working relations both within the department and with other departments.
- To attend select trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows and to promote sales and image for the hotel.
- To plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to major market areas, reporting new potential markets that should be considered.
- To provide feedback and market information to the Director of Sales & Marketing relating to changing market conditions, including trends in competition by carrying out sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interacting with competitive hotel staff. Also, to analyze and review these changes with the Director of Sales & Marketing, implementing programmed with the Sales team to meet these changes in all market segments.
- To maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers, both in local and international markets.
Achieves financial targets and monitors progress of team’s sales objectives targets through supervision and guidance to ensure team also achieves financial targets in all revenue streams.
- Ensures the team understand and achieves all KPIs related to the department.
- Attend trade shows and fairs and ensures coverage in all key feeder markets.
