Job Purpose
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.
BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.
The Geospatial Project Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of geospatial projects. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all geospatial projects are completed within time, cost and quality constraints to meet the organisation’s requirements. The Individual should be able to work well unsupervised and will be able to plan and organise the team’s activities.

Job Accountabilities
- Manages the development and implementation of geospatial project.
- Ensure that all geospatial projects are completed within time, cost and quality constraints to meet the organisations requirements.
- Collaborates with other geospatial specialists to develop and manage geospatial projects.
- Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address project-related issues.
- Monitors and reports project progress, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of geospatial project management principles and practices.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
- Extensive experience in geospatial information project management roles.
- Microsoft Project, ArcGIS Project Management Templates.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of geospatial information project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
