Job Summary:

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. This role includes managing staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and ensuring smooth and efficient front office procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervision and Leadership:
    • Oversee the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
    • Conduct daily briefings to communicate important information, updates, and special events.
    • Assist in training new front desk staff and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Guest Relations:
    • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and check them in/out in a courteous and efficient manner.
    • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through personalized service.
  • Operational Management:
    • Monitor front desk operations to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
    • Manage room inventory, including reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
  • Financial Transactions:
    • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports related to front office operations.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial and operational policies.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Manage guest concerns and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front office operations.
Qualifications:


  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front office or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
    • Experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
