Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage all financial and accounting activities of the company, ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards, enhance internal financial controls, and support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Team Leadership:
• Supervise the finance team and ensure tasks are properly distributed and completed on time.
• Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and support professional development.
• Ensure timely completion of daily accounting operations.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and present reports to senior management.
• Ensure financial statements comply with SOCPA standards and are accurate.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Prepare the annual budget in coordination with all departments.
• Monitor actual performance vs. budget and analyze variances.
• Recommend actions based on financial trends and projections.
4. Internal Controls & Auditing:
• Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare required documentation.
5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Manage banking relationships and oversee all bank transactions.
• Provide regular cash flow reports and forecasts.
6. Tax & Zakat Compliance:
• Oversee the preparation and filing of VAT and Zakat returns.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Coordinate with tax advisors/auditors if needed.
7. Billing, Collections & Payments:
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
• Review and approve payments to vendors and suppliers.
8. Accounting System Oversight:
• Supervise the accounting system (ERP or equivalent) and ensure accurate data entry.
• Coordinate with the IT team for system improvements or customizations.
• Ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded in the system.
9. Strategic Financial Support:
• Provide financial recommendations for projects and investments.
• Assist in preparing financial feasibility studies and growth strategies.
• Present financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA are preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
