As a Field Specialist, you will be the key interface between our on-site teams and the client. You will work technically and professionally to ensure that equipment is installed, maintained and started properly. By making innovative contributions to our future, you'll help create reliable, high-quality support for our customers.

As an Artificial Lift Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Communicating with various clients and must have good customer service skills
• Performing the installation and pulling of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems for onshore and offshore oil and water wells
• Performing the set-up and start-ups of Centrilift Motor Controllers and VSDs to ensure reliability and performance
• Troubleshooting surface and down-hole ESP equipment to monitor production, maximize well productivity, and improve run life
• Keeping accurate records of all work performed to ensure documentation is updated
• Providing on-the-job training to team members
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values
  
  
  

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a two year technical degree (preferably in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) and demonstrate solid experience as an Artificial Lift Field Specialist
• Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Artificial Lift - ESP
• Have good attention to detail with good analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrate the ability to be proactive, flexible and a self starter
• Display a customer-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be a good team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
