Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a high-performing and experienced Electric Actuation Subject Matter Expert to play a key role within the Emerson Actuation Technologies business unit being responsible for penetrating existing and new markets throughout both the short and long sales cycle. The SME is encouraged to use considerable experience in actuation sales, application engineering, and product expertise to drive competitive displacement and complete short- and long-term market penetration plans for strategic products. The SME will collaborate across the World Area Sales Organization to drive strategic product initiatives including providing product sales training, developing application solutions, and crafting competitive displacement opportunities for our sales channels. The SME will also work closely with the Product Marketing Team to align product development plans with industry trends.
Job location is Saudi Arabia; the SME will be reporting proven line to the MEA Western Region Actuation Technologies Regional Sales Manager and dotted line to the MEA Actuation Technologies Electric Actuator Business Development Manager.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Develop MRO business by harvesting installed base through regular site visits and walk-downs.
- Drive growth via obsolescence, upgrade, retrofit and competition displacement programs.
- Map regional competition landscape.
- Drive orders growth into new and diverse markets for Actuation Technologies.
- Engage with product specific Strategic Business Unit (SBU) driving growth in the respective product platforms.
- Lead the regional business development effort and product growth programs by creating overall strategies and execution plans to increase sales opportunities for strategic products.
- Collaborate effectively with the Internal Sales Team to ensure customer commitments are held and good customer experience is provided.
- Participate in customer development activities like trade shows, fairs, conferences striving to promote the sale of products, solutions, and services of Actuation Technologies.
- Develop product subject matter expertise for all selling channels within the Region.
- Bridge voice of customer between Channel, End User, and product support functions
- Identify market opportunities and targeted markets, intelligence gathering on customers and competitors to generate sales leads.
- Recognize and accept HSE roles and responsibilities as defined in Emerson's policies and procedure.
- Observe the “Business Ethics”, practice and promote the “Go Boldly” culture in all aspects and ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance.

- Electrical bachelor’s degree in applicable field (Master’s Degree Preferred).
- Experienced in the industry selling electrical actuators for at least 5 years.
- English full professional proficiency language skills.
- Arabic language knowledge is preferred.
- Good presentation and digital literacy.
- Growth minded individual with strong selling and results oriented focus.
- Proven track record to collaborate, influence and implement across matrixed organizations.
- Attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities
