Job Description
The Factory Manager / General Manager will be based in KSA. This person will be responsible to oversee facility operations and manage a team of production employees and work closely with Sales team for driving customer contracts. The successful candidate's responsibilities include implementing policies and monitoring output to meet production goals on time and within budget. This role also involves hiring and training new team members, performing maintenance on equipment as needed and ensuring compliance with safety standards to maintain a productive work environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who Demonstrates
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…
Production
Creating schedules, assigning tasks, and coordinating manufacturing activities. Implement production processes and develop manufacturing budgets. This can include managing the delivery of raw materials, manufacturing time, and transportation and storage of finished products.
Supply Chain
Knowledge of the Steel supply chain process, logistics management, inventory control, procurement, and process optimization. Working with procurement managers, buyers, and vendors to source the right materials or products
Negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and customers.
People
Hiring, training, and supervising employees, such as assemblers, packers, and equipment operators. They also evaluate employee performance and coach production teams. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions. Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards
Quality
Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet quality standards. Quality assurance is an important part of quality management that helps manufacturers adhere to production standards. Review and audit production processes to identify strategies for improvement
Safety
Ensuring that employees are working in a safe environment.
Communication
Frequently corresponding with colleagues and superiors about workplace topics, and meeting with employees to discuss their progress, concerns, and schedules.
Leadership
Leading their team by example, encouraging employees to mirror their actions and work ethic.
Market planning
Overseeing the production planning process to ensure the strategy is viable to handle competition in the intended market.
Performance
Estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways to reduce them. Conducting performance reviews to keep team members on track, and to support growth and development. Prepare production reports for senior management
Time management
Allocating time and resources properly so that work hours are maximized, and no machine or employee is left idling.

Here Is Some Of What You’ll Need (required)
- Minimum Degree in Engineering
- Management Degree from a reputed college will be an advantage
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in steel industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in KSA at management position.
- Good manufacturing knowledge with advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills. Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, HR modeling, leadership technique, production methods...
- Experience in a startup environment as well as global public companies
- Experience in Solar Industry
