Job Title: ERP Application Analyst
Department: Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Reports To: Business and Clinical Applications Manager
Role Purpose:
The ERP Application Analyst is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining ERP systems to ensure continuous and efficient operation within the hospital. This includes providing first-level support, coordinating testing and rollout of patches, assisting in training activities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. First-Level ERP Support and Issue Logging
• Respond to user queries related to ERP systems via email, phone, or CRM tools.
• Log and track incidents, problems, and change requests in accordance with SLA timeframes.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure prompt issue resolution.
• Conduct routine system quality checks and ensure compliance with ICT risk management policies.
• Share solutions and findings with the team to contribute to a knowledge repository.
2. System Implementation and Go-Live Support
• Participate in ERP system simulations, dry runs, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development to plan and document ERP training sessions.
• Provide support throughout go-live processes and ensure proper handover to users.
• Compile user manuals and documentation to facilitate post-implementation support.
3. Application Testing and Patch Management
• Assist in application testing, defect reporting, and preparing test documentation.
• Ensure thorough testing is conducted before any patch or code is moved to production.
• Prepare and execute test scripts to cover all key ERP scenarios.
• Track and follow up on reported bugs until they are resolved and closed.
4. Training and Knowledge Transfer
• Conduct or support ERP module training for end-users and team members.
• Contribute to cross-functional training to reduce knowledge dependency within the team.
• Ensure training sessions reflect business processes and user needs.
• Gather feedback to improve training effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Minimum Requirements:
• A relevant ICT degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years’ experience in ERP system support or implementation within a healthcare setting.
Desired Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification in ITIL v3 Foundations.
• Hands-on experience with hospital ERP systems and CRM ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, Cache, SAP FI/MM, and related supporting applications.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage testing processes and document scenarios.
• Team-oriented with knowledge-sharing mindset.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
