Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Environmental Specialist with 5 to 10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in environmental assessments, compliance, and sustainability planning who are enthusiastic about contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects. The successful candidate must be willing and able to relocate to KSA.

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA), audits, and environmental risk analyses in accordance with national and international standards.
• Prepare and review technical reports, environmental management plans (EMPs), and permit applications.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies, and sustainability goals.
• Support project planning by identifying environmental constraints and opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering to integrate environmental requirements.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor site activities and perform inspections to ensure adherence to environmental best practices.
• Recommend mitigation strategies for minimizing environmental impact during project execution.
• Promote awareness and provide training to project teams on environmental issues and procedures.
• Stay current with new developments, tools, and legislation related to environmental science and sustainability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in environmental roles within infrastructure, industrial, or energy sectors.
• Proficiency in environmental modeling, GIS, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.

• Knowledge of environmental monitoring and mitigation technologies.
• Familiarity with sustainability rating systems (e.g., LEED, Estidama, GSAS).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet project timelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
