The Role
We are looking for our next team member to be part of the Commercial sales team, reporting into the Head of EMEA Enterprise Channels. This role is partner-facing and will be expected to build AMD’s channel business in support of our customers’ enterprise server business in the KSA region. To be responsible for driving business development with Distributors and VAR Partners by evangelizing AMD technology, building and executing sales programs, enabling sales teams through training, managing executive relationships.

- Fluent communicator in English and Arabic
- An established background and relationships with IT Distributors, VARs and OEMs (eg. HPE, Lenovo, Dell) in the KSA region
- Sales experience across a range of enterprise IT solutions including server and storage
- Ability to influence and project-manage global, cross-functional teams
- Executive presentation skills to multiple partners: customers, analysts, technical specialists and business leaders
- Demonstrated success in comparable roles, developing strong Channel Partner relationships which have led to sales success
- Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to build relationships and influence Executive contacts
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Proven follow-up and closing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Achieve and exceed sales targets/quotas
- Discover, build, grow and close incremental business opportunities within the region’s Reseller and Distribution Channel selling AMD-based Commercial Server products
- Discover, build, grow and close incremental business opportunities within the key OEMs
- Team collaboration with AMD Enterprise End-User and OEM sales teams in support of the Commercial business
- Partner with AMD Channel Marketing to develop AMD platform communications, enablement events and training that articulate the benefits of AMD powered solutions
- Ensure AMD has relevant focus within key local OEM sales, marketing and executive management
- Proven experience selling datacenter and/or commercial client solutions and products in the KSA region
- Solid understanding of datacenter infrastructure server and storage solutions, software ecosystem, and workloads
- Solid knowledge of commercial PC client solutions and eco-systems
- Demonstrated success selling and influencing within the local Channel Partner community
- International business experience
