Electrical Inspector

House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia. HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a "one-stop solution" for their clients' project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical systems, hands-on experience in electrical inspection, and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved design specifications, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the correct installation of electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, lighting, and distribution panels.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure functionality, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformances or electrical issues during the construction phase.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, testing results, system performance, and any required corrective actions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection, including at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in inspection tools, testing equipment, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
