Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will Oversee design and engineering management of facility Electrical Systems, Controls and system interfaces internal to project facilities. Closely liaises with Mechanical, Architectural and Communications and Controls Engineering Staff to ensure effective implementation of Electrical Systems internal to project facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Independently develops methods and solutions for engineering problems; selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the various engineering requirement on infrastructure related projects or studies. Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analysis within the electrical engineering discipline.
• Ensure all technical reviews and design engineering compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and ordinances.
• Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships by actively involving with other employees, engineers, managements, and clients.
• Prepares engineering reports with minimal supervision.
• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
• Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional registration (CEng or PE, or equivalent)
• 10+ years of related engineering and design management experience on large scale programs.
• Experience in Entertainment sector preferred
• Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with third party design consultants, interface and coordinate project performance with other disciplines, interpret and deliver client's vision, and proactively manage the design process and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems beneficial
• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications.
