ITP Media Saudi is looking for an ambitious, energetic content pro to join its team as the launch Editor for ahlan Riyadh, as the social-first consumer media brand makes its debut in Saudi, with a fully Arabic-language presence.

Dialed into global social trends and the local Riyadh lifestyle scene, the ideal candidate always has the tea and knows how to engage an audience on platforms including TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.

Based out of ITP’s Riyadh office, this role will be responsible for strategising and leading the execution of a fun, playful and fast-paced content calendar, with video, news and lifestyle pieces tailored to ever-evolving best practice and algorithms.

This role requires regular networking and socialising, so the ideal candidate should be confident stepping into new situations and skilled at working a room.

Requirements

• Lead and set the overall agenda and production of the brand’s content across social / video, digital and events.
• Deliver consistent audience and engagement growth across the brand’s social and digital platforms.
• Manage and motivate the brand’s deputy content creator, and foster a strong working relationship with the sales team.
• Edit, proof and publish content in line with the brand’s content strategy, ensuring stories are on brand and meet quality standards.
• Ensure daily content goals are met, and content is posted quickly and accurately.
• Ensure content posted works towards the brand’s audience and engagement goals, promoting interaction and reaction.
• Identify new social trends and emerging platforms, and how the brand can best adopt them.
• Ensure content meets local and legal guidelines, and all relevant copyrights have been cleared.
• Provide weekly brand performance reports to the General Manager and Chief Content Officer, regularly analysing and refining approach for best results.
• Determine what medium is best suited for a particular content piece and commission internal and/or external creators etc. to make it live on deadline and on budget.
• Oversee the brand’s annual and seasonal calendar of events, collaborating with the events team to deliver exciting, cohesive, quality activations that add value to the brand and its audience.
• Work with the Chief Content Officer to ensure ALL content reflects overall content / editorial strategy.
• Regularly attend events outside of regular office hours.

• Second-to-none visual eye for stunning, quality content.
• Ability to use smartphones for high-quality pictures and video.
• Solutions-orientated, and a skilled team-leader.
• Superb organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent grasp of social trends and best practice.
• Experience across a wide range of social media platforms and reporting.
• Languages: Fluent in spoken and written Arabic, and spoken English.
• Work experience: At least five years in content creation, with at least two years in a deputy editor or social lead role.
• Software: WordPress, web analytics, social management tools (on-platform and third party).
