Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Document Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of document control activities, with a primary focus on submitting deliverables to multiple clients using platforms such as Aconex, PMWeb, and other internal or external systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Submit deliverables to multiple clients using Aconex and PMWeb, based on the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) utilized for each project within the Engineering Management Team.
  • Implement document and data management solutions, focusing on document control and records management, and administer data/document management applications.
  • Process various document types through all procedural steps in accordance with established guidelines and procedures, ensuring compliance with document control requirements (e.g., document numbering systems as per client manual guidelines).
  • Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases (e.g., ProjectWise, ParDocs, or local servers), and update tracking logs, transmittals, and other required reports.
  • Provide support to project directors and managers, ensuring timely coordination and submission of deliverables to clients.
  • Prepare general correspondence and maintain organized general files.
  • Manage the filing, storage, and security of documents.
  • Generate logs, transmittals, and other reports as required using document management programs.
  • Draft business correspondence and minutes of meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role’s responsibilities and functional level.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in document control, particularly with Aconex and PMWeb.
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes and proficiency in utilizing electronic systems for document management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
