The position is responsible for supervising all approved professional valuation disciplines within the Authority, including the valuation of real estate, business valuation, machinery and equipment, and movable property. The role focuses on developing professional practices, enhancing the quality and efficiency of valuation services, and fostering integration with relevant entities, in alignment with local and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the identification of the training hierarchy and the targeted objectives for each training program based on the results of the training needs assessment for each branch.
- Supervise the determination of training requirements for each branch, including the number of required courses, training hours, competencies, and levels based on the desired outcomes.
- Supervise the development of training pathways according to identified needs and requirements (knowledge, skills, etc.).
- Ensure coordination with the Content Development, Localization, and Translation Department to prepare or update the competency framework and plan appropriate curricula and training levels.
- Prepare or update fellowship requirements in accordance with best practices and market needs.
- Supervise the development of methods to evaluate different requirements and experiences, ensuring accurate measurement.
- Define selection criteria for discussion committee members based on best practices, in coordination with the Content Development, Localization, and Translation Department.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and discussion committees when needed to ensure proper implementation of curricula, training tools, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Monitor training quality to ensure that all educational and professional objectives and requirements are achieved.
- Supervise the development or updating of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs, in coordination with the Content Development, Localization, and Translation Department, and in collaboration with the Academy Executive Management and the Communication Executive Management, based on educational needs, standards, and current trends to meet the needs of valuation branches and ensure valuers are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the identification of targeted entities or review partnership and mutual accreditation requests.
- Update mutual accreditations based on lessons learned and share outcomes with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of specialized professional studies based on workshop outcomes and international best practices.
- Ensure timely responses to inquiries received through communication platforms, other departments, government entities, or committees.
- Supervise the development and implementation of professional policies and standards for various valuation branches.
- Monitor the quality of valuation reports, propose corrective actions, and enhance professional performance.
- Promote integration and coordination with other technical departments and accredited valuers.
- Develop strategies to enhance the professional and technical competencies of valuers in collaboration with relevant internal entities.
- Study local and international best practices in the field of valuation and provide appropriate recommendations for implementation.
- Represent the Authority in committees and meetings related to valuation locally and internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in valuation fields, including at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Holding the Authority’s Fellowship in one of the valuation branches or one of the following professional certifications:
- Real Estate Valuation: MRICS, MAI, FRICS, or equivalent.
- Business Valuation: ASA, CVA, CFA Level 3, or equivalent.
- Machinery and Equipment Valuation: ASA-MTS, MRICS, API, or equivalent.
