Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Loss Prevention to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive loss prevention strategies to ensure the safety and security of our assets, employees, and customers.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee loss prevention policies and procedures across the organization
  • Lead and manage the loss prevention team, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate loss prevention strategies into overall business operations
  • Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage the department's budget and resources effectively
  • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and maintain awareness of current security issues
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to security and loss prevention
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on loss prevention metrics and trends
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems and equipment
  • Develop and conduct training programs for employees on loss prevention and safety procedures
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in loss prevention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in loss prevention, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies
  • Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques, security systems, and investigative procedures
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with security management software
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local laws and customs in Saudi Arabia
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends when necessary
