About the location:
Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.
The Role Of Director Of Information Technology
We currently have an opportunity for Director of Information Technology to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you are responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the property. Additionally, the Director of Information Technology is responsible for executing hotel and corporate systems strategies, and for forecasting technology requirements and upgrades to existing technology to improve effectiveness of installed systems.
Responsibilities will include assisting guests with technical requirements and issues, providing high levels of service and support, actively participating in quarterly regional systems meetings and sharing ideas and best practices, ensuring critical systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day, establishing and maintaining system security procedures, user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems, establishing product lifecycle management for hardware/software and capital planning for technology, preparing IT operating and capital budgets, and assisting the Director of Finance in administering all IT related maintenance and services contracts; taking a leadership role in establishing scope of the contracts, contract negotiations and bidding process.

Our Ideal Director Of Information Technology Candidate Will Have
At least two years of experience as a Hotel Director of Information Technology, and a University/College education with a major in Information Technology. You should be a business manager with strong business, resources and project planning experience, network-building and trouble-shooting skills and knowledge of hospitality applications and interfaces.
You should have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, the ability to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities. Previous pre-opening experience is essential.
Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
